March of 2015 Knik House opened. Knik House is a transitional housing facility for people in housing crisis and re-entry needs located in the Mat-Su Valley. we are a Christ centered program designed to successfully habilitate and re-habilitate people and families in need. This program is designed to be an 12-18 month program. Our program can currently house up to 23 men and children in 1 location and up to 11 women and 4 children in the second location.

Blood n Fire also partners with 6 other agencies to provide homeless prevention. This program offers for qualifying applicants to get assistance with utility shut-off notices, heating fuel, eviction notices and help with a portion of first months rent for those that find themselves in that need. Partner agencies that we share resources with are Valley Charities, Family Promise, My House, Salvation Army, Day Break and Alaska Family Services.
Also when resources are available we help with heating fuel, wood heat and gas cards.

Blood n Fire started out delivering food and clothing to people in need in 2006. We have a Food and Clothing Pantry located at Meadow Lakes City Center #18. Blood n fire started out serving 20 families a month. Now we are able to serve 450 families a month.
Food Pantry open on Wednesday and Friday 2:00pm-5:00pm.
Clothing Pantry is open on Monday 2:00pm-5:00pm
Food 4 Kids available Monday, Wednesday and Friday 2:00pm-5:00pm
